Friendship Birthday Book
Today I came across my Grandma Alice's "Friendship Birthday Book".
We are getting ready for a remodel job and cleaning the shelves made me sit down and look through the pages of this book again. As the only grandaughter (and one of two grandchildren) I have been blessed by having these family mementos passed down to me.) My grandma died when I was only 7 and my grandpa had a lovely lady named Florence as his good friend for many years, he also married late in life(87) to his second wife "Sis"...therefore the pages of the book have been notated by my grandma, Florence, Sis and his only daughter-in-law...my mom.
I love history and cherish the memories of my grandmas..(.more about Dagnie tomorrow)
I have decided to post more about them and what they have passed on to me.

Get Organized
The new year always inspires us to get organized. These clipboards are a functional and pretty way to keep your notes handy.
Pick up a clipboard from your local office supply store or a vintage one can be used as well. Decoupage on papers, music, book pages etc. and embellish with ribbon and whatever your heart delights.
